The Department of Organic Chemistry and Technology (DOCT), operating within the Faculty of Chemical and Bioengineering at BME, is a multidisciplinary teaching and research hub offering comprehensive education in organic chemistry and industrial technologies.
Our primary focus lies in the development of technologies related to organic compounds, with special emphasis on the pharmaceutical, agrochemical, and fine chemical industries, as well as environmentally friendly polymers, packaging materials, and macromolecular innovations.
Through our state-of-the-art instrumentation and international collaborations, we make a significant contribution to the development of green, safe, and sustainable chemical technologies.
